Job DescriptionLocation: Borden Mine, Chapleau, Ontario, CanadaRotation: 7 on, 7 off or 14 on 14 offShift Length: 11 hoursSalary Range: $73,000 - $123,000/annum, range is variable and dependent on overtime worked and production bonus paidAllowance: Based on locationBenefits: Health Care, Dental and Vision, Life Insurance, Pension Plan, Employee Assistance ProgramPre-employment requirement: Drug and Alcohol testingJob Summary:Under the supervision of the HSE Superintendent, the Trainer is responsible for training employees to safely and efficiently operate underground mining equipment and perform mining-related tasks while meeting all Redpath, Client and legislative requirements.ResponsibilitiesGeneral:Asses an employee's current skill level and assist in creating action plan to meet goals and objectivesFollow formalized training plan to help ready employee's on safe operations of various pieces of mobilized equipmentTraining the national workforce on all types of mechanized mining equipmentCoordinate training activities and maintain administrative functionsConducting theoretical training in a classroom environment undergroundConducting practical training undergroundMaintain relevant knowledge of mobile equipment;
