Our client is seeking a Wait Staff - Server to join their team for a special event. As a Wait Staff - Server, you will help create a welcoming, high-energy guest experience by serving with care, staying attentive to details, and supporting smooth event operations. If you enjoy connecting with people, working in a fast-paced environment, and delivering excellent service, this role is a great fit.

Job Title: Wait Staff - Server

Location: KINGSTON, ON

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Shift: Hours Per Shift: 5, Shift Start Time: 03:00 PM

What's the Job?

- Serve guests during a special event by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Provide excellent customer service through clear communication, attentive table service, and a friendly, professional presence.
- Support event flow by staying organized, responding quickly to guest needs, and coordinating with team members.
- Follow food safety principles and procedures to help maintain a clean, safe service environment.
- Be prepared for physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing.

What's Needed?

- Previous experience as a server or in food service is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
- Ability to obtain a food safety certification and availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
