We currently have an exciting Casual opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Fraser Hope Lodge.
Fraser Hope Lodge consists of two buildings, many outdoor spaces and gorgeous mountain views. We are the only rural long-term care community in Fraser Health, and the sole care community in the town of Hope that provides 24-hr a day complex nursing care.
Lying at the edge of the Fraser Valley on the banks of the Fraser and Coquihalla rivers, you’ll find the lively community of Hope surrounded by majestic mountains and unspoiled beauty. Only a short two-hour drive east of Vancouver’s city centre, Hope is an outdoor paradise with a variety of recreational opportunities and a vibrant culture that celebrates the arts and local artisans.
Under the direction of the Manager,
Clinical Operations or designate and in collaboration as a member of a multidisciplinary team; performs assessments, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care. The LPN operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and according to agency operating policies and standards and unit specific protocols.
Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
