The University of Toronto is seeking a Sessional Lecturer for EESD02H3 - Contaminant Hydrogeology, with a focus on groundwater and contaminant transport. Ideal candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences or a related field, and have experience in university-level teaching. Develop course materials, supervise teaching assistants, and incorporate case studies to enrich student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging lectures each week
• Prepare course materials and assessment tools
• Grade student assignments and examinations
• Hold regular office hours to support students
• Supervise teaching assistants in class activities
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences or related field
• Experience with contaminant transport modeling tools
• University-level teaching experience preferred
• Availability for lectures on Tuesdays, 10 am - 1 pm
• Ability to integrate field methods and current research
