Duties
Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences
Engage with clients through excellent communication to understand their desired looks and offer expert recommendations
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure a safe environment
Upsell retail haircare products and styling accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue




Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments
Educate clients on proper hair care routines and product usage for ongoing maintenance at home
Assist with maintaining the salon’s organized appearance and inventory of supplies

Experience
Proven experience as a barber or stylist with a solid portfolio of diverse haircutting and styling techniques
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and retain loyal clients
Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon setting
Strong communication skills to effectively listen to client needs and provide explicit advice
Ability to upsell retail products naturally while focusing on client satisfaction
Previous experience managing front desk duties or retail sales is a plus but not required
A passion for current hair trends and continuous learning to stay ahead in the industry
