Job Overview

We are seeking a agile and experienced Retail Bakery Supervisor to lead our bakery team and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service in our Distillery District location . The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards for product quality and store presentation. This role requires robust leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for retail management within a bakery or restaurant environment.

Prior supervisory experience are highly valued to foster effective communication and team development.

Responsibilities
Supervise daily bakery operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards
Lead, motivate, and train bakery staff to achieve sales goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Manage inventory, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation
Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and bookkeeping activities with accuracy and integrity
Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities aligned with store objectives
Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members; conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training & development




Coordinate marketing efforts to attract customers and increase sales within the bakery section
Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and manage budgets to meet financial targets
Maintain excellent communication with team members, vendors, and management to ensure operational efficiency

Experience
Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales or store management, preferably within a bakery or food service workplace
Strong background in merchandising, sales management, and customer service excellence
Skilled in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math operations
Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and team leadership
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customer bases
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
Excellent negotiation, phone etiquette, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
