5+ years as a backend software engineer
Proficient in data models, API design, and state machines
Solid grasp of event-driven architecture and database design
Experience with AWS, gRPC, Snowflake, Kotlin, and Python
Familiarity with monitoring systems like Sentry or Kibana Drive backend innovations as part of Affirm's growing team and improve merchant lifecycle experiences.
