We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced workplace. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cash handling, and food safety while working in a welcoming and dynamic setting.

Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position emphasizes solid time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and protected workspace.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
Manage customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients and maintaining product freshness
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space throughout shifts




Assist with serving food items when necessary and manage food handling responsibilities
Use basic math skills for cash transactions, change calculation, and inventory tracking
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service

Requirements
Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
Strong customer service skills with an outgoing and positive attitude
Ability to operate POS systems such as Micros POS with accuracy
Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and inventory management
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
