Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help us serve outstanding meals efficiently and safely.

Duties
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients for dishes.
Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal assembly.
Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices and adhering to food handling regulations.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
Support the serving team by preparing plates or dishes for presentation and delivery.




Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies in accordance with food safety standards.
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels.

Experience
Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures is advantageous.
Knowledge of restaurant operations or the food industry will support your success in this role.
Ability to follow safety guidelines related to food safety and hygiene standards.
Solid teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen staff and service teams.
