Lead after school programs at PLASP Child Care Services in Etobicoke, ON as an Assistant Director. Support children’s development through engaging activities while ensuring a protected and nurturing environment. At PLASP, the Assistant Director plays a crucial role in managing after school programming.

This position requires collaboration with staff to plan and implement effective activities that enhance children's physical and emotional well-being following CCEYA and PLASP guidelines. You will also support food ordering and preparation, as well as oversee administrative duties in the absence of the Program Director. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a caring and secure setting for children
Facilitate planning and implementation of stimulating activities




Manage food ordering and preparation for nutritious snacks
Handle program administration during the Director's absence
Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education standards

Requirements:
Registered ECE, OCT, or CYW diploma required
Minimum 2 years of experience in child care
Knowledge of CCEYA and licensing requirements
Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR Level C
Criminal Reference Check for vulnerable sector
