As a People Health Accommodation Advisor with Vancouver Coastal Health, you'll support employees with disabilities in their journey back to work. Focus on sustainable accommodations and effective return-to-work plans to enhance workplace integration. This role requires collaboration with the People Health Team and Workplace Health to develop accommodation strategies tailored to each employee's needs.

You will also conduct legal analyses, educate clients on labor relations, and promote inclusion in the workplace. Your expertise in negotiation and emotional intelligence will be essential in fostering a culture of acceptance and understanding. Key Responsibilities:
Provide support and advice for employee accommodations
Collaborate with HR and managers to create accommodation plans




Conduct follow-ups after accommodations to assess success
Educate on human rights legislation and industry best practices
Facilitate conflicts resolution regarding accommodation issues

Requirements:
University degree in a related field
5 to 7 years of experience in a unionized healthcare workplace
Knowledge of disability management and labor codes
Proficiency in negotiation and relationship management
Current computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
