Westpoint Cutting & Design Ltd. is a Waterjet cutting and complete fabrication company located in Acheson mainly supplying products for the automotive, oil and gas, as well as a number of other industries. Currently looking for a person to operate and manage CNC Waterjets, as well as sanding and preparing parts for shipping.

Requirements
Must have forklift experience
Must be able to operate grinders and sanders for part preparation
Ability to run a computer necessary to operate CNC equipment
Ability to identify different types of material (Steel gauges, Aluminum thickness, stainless etc)
Strong attention to detail required
Ability to read and measure sheet and part sizes
Positive understanding of mechanical equipment, with the willingness to learn how to repair
Excellent time management and task prioritization skills,



as well as the ability to work unsupervised
Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Passion and care for creating finished product
Must have reliable transportation to get to Acheson daily
Work week – Monday to Friday, 8:00 – 4:30. Some overtime may be required

Experience:
Computer experience necessary
Waterjet knowledge an asset and will be given first consideration
CNC punch experience also an asset
