Responsibilities
Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
Verify that dishes meet quality standards before they leave the kitchen, checking presentation and temperature
High attention to detail regarding allergies/dietary restrictions
Organize and prioritize orders based on ticket times and service flow to optimize efficiency
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including garnishing and portioning
Maintain cleanliness of work stations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards




Communicate effectively with kitchen team members about order status or special requests
Support the overall flow of service by managing order accuracy, timing, and presentation

Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations
Excellent customer service skills to support guest satisfaction and team collaboration
Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices
Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for order management tasks
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members
Experience with food preparation, plating techniques, and meal presentation is highly desirable
Background with Japanese cuisine
Previous hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, along with serving background
Capable of multitasking while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 28.0 per week
