Responsibilities
Assist customers with mailing services, including package drop-offs, postage purchases, and product inquiries
Process incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Conduct product demonstrations of postal services and related merchandise to enhance customer understanding
Manage cash handling and cashiering duties using POS (Point of Sale) systems with precision
Maintain organized merchandising displays to promote postal products and services effectively
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and upselling additional services
Uphold phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or in person, ensuring explicit and friendly interactions




Support time management by efficiently prioritizing tasks during busy periods

Experience
Previous retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in a technical or product-focused setting
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse communities
Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions accurately
Familiarity with merchandising, POS systems, and cashiering procedures is advantageous
Experience in technical sales or product demos can be beneficial for promoting postal products effectively
Ability to manage time efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
Excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills to ensure smooth daily operations
