Job Summary
Position Title: Sewing Machine Mechanic
Environment: Manufacturing Facility (Unionized)
Location: Toronto
Shifts: 8 Hours
Days: Monday to Friday (some Saturdays as needed)
Rate of Pay: $ 25.70/hour to start then $27.70/hour after as per contract
Type: Full-Time evening shift

Responsibilities
Repairing sewing Machines and Other manufacturing machines on sight
Preforming preventive maintenance on all machines weekly
Other duties as assigned

Required Skills
Minimum 6 months related experience
Experience working in busy setting warehouse
Excellent attention to detail, hand-eye coordination
Physically fit and able to assemble and move Machines
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance is a must
Average level of English communication skills and computer skills
Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
High attention to cleanliness of machines and working station
Strong team player
