Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Stand-Up Counter Balance Operator for a temp-to-hire chance in a food production and distribution facility located near Science World. This role is ideal for a certified forklift operator with solid cold storage experience, excellent safety habits, and the ability to work efficiently in a GMP warehouse environment.

This is a stable opportunity in a medium-sized facility with a structured, safety-focused team environment. Candidates who perform well may be considered for permanent hire after approximately 3 months. The workplace provides required GMP items and freezer suits, supporting employees with the equipment needed to perform safely and comfortably in a cold storage setting.

Key Responsibilities
Operate a stand-up electric counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently in a cold storage warehouse.
Move, stage, load, and organize food and beverage products according to shipping, receiving,



and storage requirements.
Follow GMP procedures, food safety standards, and warehouse safety protocols at all times.
Complete material handling tasks accurately while maintaining product integrity in a freezer or cold storage environment.
Support shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and general warehouse workflow as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area in accordance with facility standards.

Compensation and Benefits
Pay rate: $24 to $27 per hour.
Job type: Temp-to-hire.
Potential for permanent hire after approximately 3 months based on performance.
Freezer suits are provided.
GMP items are provided, including hairnets, beard nets, gloves, and masks.
Changerooms and lockers are available on site.
