Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Construction Labourer to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the execution of landscape construction projects, contributing to the creation and maintenance of outdoor spaces that meet client specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn recent skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in various aspects of landscape construction, including site preparation, installation, and finishing work.

Responsibilities
Assist with site preparation activities such as clearing, grading, and soil excavation to ensure a stable foundation for landscaping projects.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks including planting, edging, and installing features.
Support masonry work, including concrete forming, finishing, and laying pavers or stonework.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements.
Handle materials and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work setting.
Assist with installation of irrigation systems, drainage solutions,



and other plumbing-related components.
Support carpentry tasks such as framing, cabinet installation, or constructing landscape features.
Perform general construction duties including drywall installation, caulking, painting touch-ups, and restoration work.
Operate heavy equipment such as compactors or mini-excavators under supervision.
Contribute to quality control by inspecting completed work for accuracy and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications
MUST HAVE WORKING AT HEIGHTS CERTIFICATE
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic masonry equipment.
Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and masonry practices.
Experience with carpentry tasks including framing or cabinet installation.
Skills in drywall installation, painting, tile laying, flooring installation, or electrical work are beneficial.
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.
Solid physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
