Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Customer Service and Food Preparation Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on sanitation and safety standards. This position offers an prospect to develop skills in food handling, cashiering, and restaurant operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Provide friendly and attentive customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
Manage cashier duties, including processing payments accurately and upselling menu items when appropriate
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed




Support team members during busy periods to ensure productive service delivery
Uphold high standards of sanitation, including proper cleaning of equipment and workspaces
Demonstrate effective time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts

Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or the food industry is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Prior kitchen experience or food industry background will be beneficial for success in this role
English speaking, writing and understanding required
Languages considered an asset are Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi​

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,500.00-$2,900.00 per month
