Job Summary

Duties
Cut, trim, and prepare different types of meats according to established specifications and safety standards
Operate butchery tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Package meat products carefully to preserve freshness and meet packaging guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety at all times
Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of low supplies or quality issues

Experience
Prior experience in the food industry,



especially in butchery or meat cutting, is highly preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential
Hands-on experience with meat cutting tools, packaging equipment, and sanitation practices is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting
Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
