Casterland, is a privately held company with seven locations in Western Canada. We have provided casters, tires, wheels, glides and material handling equipment to industrial, commercial and residential applications since 1977. We want you to be an active participant in the success of our location. You will interact with our team members at this and other locations to grow your knowledge, and become an expert in this industry. The 40 hour week allows you to have a good work/life balance.

We are seeking a shipper/receiver for our Casterland Winnipeg location. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position is ideally suited for a friendly, enthusiastic individual that likes a variety of tasks in a team environment. This position will be a permanent position.

Responsibilities and Duties
Order picking, packing
Label and stage packages ready for shipping
Receiving, unpacking and re-stocking inventory
Label inventory as needed




Custom caster and material handling assembly
Keep warehouse tidy, organized and protected
Participate in monthly inventory cycle counts
Assisting in inbound customer calls and counter sales as time permits
Data entry related to above tasks

Qualifications and Skills
Excellent communications skills
Comfortable in computerized environment
Use of Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook)
Outgoing and positive attitude
Valuable customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills
Proactive and self-motivated
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Good Mechanical ability, needs to be comfortable using various hand and powered tools
Forklift experience
Driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50-$22.00 per hour
