Job Summary

We are seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter/Forklift operator for an opportunity in Barrie, ON within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented logistics and inventory qualified who has experience with cycle counting, RF scanners, computerized inventory systems, and forklift operation.

The Inventory Cycle Counter/Forklift role supports accurate inventory control by performing regular stock counts, identifying discrepancies, and working closely with material handlers, team leaders, supervisors, and planners to keep inventory records reliable and up to date. Key Responsibilities
Perform regular inventory cycle counts and stock takes throughout the year, including support for year-end physical inventory.
Investigate, document, and reconcile inventory discrepancies according to approved policies and procedures.
Follow established cycle counting schedules to ensure variances are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
Communicate regularly with material handlers, team leaders, supervisors, and material planners regarding inventory location, status, and scheduling.
Identify parts accurately by reading drawings, descriptions, and part numbers.
Operate forklifts when required to access inventory for counting, including narrow aisle reach (asset) and counterbalance (required) equipment.

Compensation and Perks
Pay rate: $23.75 per hour.
Steady afternoon shift
