Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction, transportation, and logistical operations. Your expertise will ensure safe, effective, and precise handling of equipment while maintaining a high standard of safety and operational excellence. Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, with precision and safety awareness.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Load and unload freight using loaders and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material movement to support construction or logistical projects.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage efficiently across multiple tasks or project phases.




Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and freight movements for record-keeping purposes.

Skills
Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders.
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safe loading/unloading techniques.
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues on equipment.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent license preferred for transporting equipment or materials.
Robust understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
