We are hiring a Field Safety Supervisor for our Grande Prairie office. This is a full-time position and is available immediately.

Duties and essential job functions

· Provide practical training to new hires & current employees

· On Site Safety Watch

· Perform field safety observations as per daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly targets

· Provide on-site support to accidents and incidents

· Maintain expert-level knowledge of company safety policies and standards

· Ensure ongoing compliance with transportation safety regulations

· Travel and on-call required





· Support, follow and enforce all company policies, practices, and procedures

Qualifications

· Minimum 2 years transportation (trucking) experience in a safety / training role

· Post-secondary diploma, certificate or degree in a related OHS discipline preferred

· H2S and First Aid

· Strong computer and interpersonal skills

· Minimum Class 5 Driver’s Licence

· CCOHS Health & Safety for Managers & Supervisors an asset

· Supervisor Drug & Alcohol Awareness an asset
