Duties
Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and safety standards
Serve food to residents or guests with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas, dining rooms, and food storage spaces
Follow proper food safety procedures, including handling, sanitation, and storage protocols
Assist with meal setup, tray assembly, and portion control to ensure effective service
Support with dishwashing, cleaning utensils, equipment, and dining areas after each shift




Manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of meals while adhering to safety guidelines

Requirements
Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or food industry settings is highly preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
Experience with food handling equipment and cleaning supplies is advantageous
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy meal periods
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks
