Job Overview
We are seeking a agile and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team! Responsibilities
Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling that meets both patient needs and provider availability
Serve as the first point of contact for patients via phone, email, or in person, providing friendly and professional assistance
Collect and verify patient information using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and billing inquiries to facilitate seamless financial processes
Educate patients on treatment plans, appointment preparations, and follow-up procedures to promote understanding and compliance
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely communication of patient updates and needs
Manage administrative tasks such as updating patient records, processing referrals, and handling correspondence
Requirements
Proven experience in a dental office environment with robust knowledge of Dental terminology
Familiarity with Tracker and MaxAssist and office management software
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies
Prior dental office experience preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare privacy regulations
Office experience demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a proactive attitude
