Red Deer Mitsubishi is looking for a licensed Journeyperson Automotive Technician with a valid Alberta Out of Province Inspection (OPI) licence — and we’re offering a $5,000 signing bonus to the right technician.

Both your Journeyperson ticket and OPI licence are required for this position.

What You’ll Do

As one of our Journeyperson Technicians, you’ll handle a variety of diagnostic, maintenance and repair work, including:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns
Complete maintenance and repairs accurately and efficiently
Perform Alberta Out of Province Inspections
Identify additional required or recommended repairs
Complete repair orders and documentation properly
Work closely with Service Advisors and the rest of the shop team
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety
Help keep work moving through the shop

What You Need

This one has two non-negotiables:

You must be a licensed Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician.





You must hold a valid Alberta OPI licence.

We’re also looking for someone who:
Can diagnose, not just replace parts
Takes pride in doing the job properly
Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
Communicates well with the team
Is dependable and shows up ready to work
