State of the art pastry production kitchen is seeking a Pastry Assistant to join our team. You are passionate about pastry making and is full of positive energy. You will thrive in a rapid-paced workplace and dedicate time to establish our company's brand and reputation.

Responsibilities:

Bake breads, pastries and tarts
Glaze and decorate cakes, tarts and entrements

Prepare fillings, creams and dough
Temper chocolate and create chocolate decorations
Keep track of inventory and reorder accordingly
Maintain cleanliness of the pastry kitchen

Qualifications:

Previous experience in pastry kitchen
Diploma or certificate from accredited culinary institution an asset
Knowledge of chocolate tempering
Ability to stand for extended period of time
Ability to work early morning shifts




Ability to work weekdays and weekends
Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask
Passion for pastry and desire to be world class
