Wine Sales Representative

Outstanding wine sells itself only once someone pours it. We need that someone.

The Pourium is hiring a Wine Sales Representative to get our wines onto more lists, into more glasses and in front of more licensed establishments. You'll look after our licensee partners (restaurants, bars, hotels, clubs and venues), win recent ones, and become the go-to wine person in your market.

The job
Open doors. Find and win new licensee accounts, and land listings, by-the-glass pours and menu features.
Grow what we have. Expand our range in existing accounts and protect every placement we've earned.
Be the relationship. Get to know owners, GMs, sommeliers, chefs and bar staff by name. Visit often, follow through always.
Inspire and make some noise. Using The Pourium Brand Difference
Run your territory like a business. Plan your routes, keep the CRM current, hit your targets and report back on what the market is telling you.
Play by the rules. Work within provincial liquor regulations,



including the rules on licensee inducements.

You'll fit right in if you have
Wine or beverage alcohol sales, or responsible front-of-house time in a wine-driven restaurant or bar
Contacts in the local hospitality scene, or the hustle to build them quickly
Wine knowledge and a hunger to keep learning
The confidence to walk in unannounced and walk out with a next step
Self-discipline: you manage your own calendar, pipeline and follow-ups
A valid driver's licence, reliable vehicle and clean driving record
Responsible beverage service certification, or willingness to get it

Bonus points for WSET Level 2+ or similar certification, agency or importer experience, knowing how licensee ordering works in Manitoba.

PAY: Competitive base salary that reflects your experience

Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
