Duties
Decorate cakes and desserts with intricate designs, piping, fondant, and other decorative techniques to meet customer specifications and seasonal themes
Prepare cake fillings, frostings, and toppings ensuring high standards of food quality and safety
Assist with food preparation tasks such as baking, portioning, and packaging baked goods for sale or delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating station, adhering to food handling and safety regulations
Interact with customers to understand their decorating preferences, provide suggestions, and ensure satisfaction
Follow recipes accurately while adding creative touches to enhance visual appeal




Support the kitchen team with general food preparation duties as needed to ensure smooth operations

Skills
Proven experience in cake decorating, including piping, fondant work, and creative design techniques
Background in restaurant or food service environments with knowledge of food handling procedures
Strong skills in food preparation, baking, and overall kitchen experience within the food industry
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with packaging baked goods for presentation or delivery purposes
