Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity
Support patients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance overall well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning resident areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
Support residents with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury




Document care activities accurately in compliance with health regulations and facility policies

Skills
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings demonstrating patient-centered care
Strong knowledge of dementia, hospice, senior care, and disability support practices
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with transfers or repositioning of residents
Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities
Familiarity with medication administration procedures and safety standards
Competence in meal preparation tailored to specific dietary restrictions or preferences
Willingness to perform cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards
