This position demands reliability and effective communication in collaboration with the Yarder Operator and Hooktender. Your primary duties will involve managing the landing, branding logs accurately, and assisting with maintenance tasks. A big part of your role is ensuring safety through effective coordination and communication with your crew.

Key Responsibilities:
• Unhook logs safely from the grapple
• Ensure landing remains transparent for loaders
• Brand logs correctly and adhere to specifications
• Assist with rigging changes and fueling equipment
• Communicate safety measures over radio

Requirements:
• Experience in logging or as a Chokerman
• Able to handle chainsaws in various weather
• Solid communication skills and teamwork focus
• Reliable for commuting to Campbell River or Woss
• Intermediate/Advanced First Aid certification preferred
