About the Role

The Banquet Attendant plays an important role in the successful execution of events at Hotel X, supporting everything from set-up and service through to tear-down. This role requires solid attention to detail, teamwork and a commitment to providing a great guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the set-up and tear-down of banquet and event spaces according to event orders and Hotel X standards, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings and staging
- Provide friendly, attentive and professional food and beverage service throughout events
- Work closely with the Banquet Supervisor and Events team to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain clean, organized and well-presented banquet spaces before, during and after events




- Replenish service stations and ensure equipment and materials are handled and stored properly
- Work collaboratively with BOH teams, including Culinary and Stewarding, to maintain an efficient service flow
- Follow all food safety, health and safety, and sanitation standards

- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Reliable, organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts based on event schedules
