The Personal Aide reports to the leadership team and is expected to support residents with personal care and daily living activities while maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming workplace. A key part of your role will be to provide compassionate support, promote dignity, and actively engage residents in meaningful daily routines.

Wage Rate: The starting wage rate is $19.407/hour

Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with personal care such as toileting, bathing, and dressing as needed or requested
Responding to resident call bells in a timely manner




Assisting with meals and feeding as required
Performing light housekeeping duties including changing garbage, linens, and maintaining resident suites
Completing scheduled deep cleaning of resident suites
Following care plans and reporting any changes in resident condition or behaviour to the UCP or Charge Nurse
Completing both paper and electronic documentation as assigned
Supporting a safe, clean, and comfortable living workplace for residents
Respecting resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
Performing delegated tasks and supporting the care team as needed

Qualifications: The qualifications needed to join our family are as follows:
PSW Certification not required but preferred
Experience in Retirement or Long-Term Care preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in resident care
Strong organizational skills and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically and mentally able to perform assigned duties
