We’re looking for aCertified Millwright or Planerman to join our redesigned, modern lumber mill located nearWilliams Lake, British Columbia .Our Lakeview Division safely and sustainably produces over 230 million board feet of lumber per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

- Certified Millwright with planer experience, Certified Planerman with a valid Interprovincial ticket , or Planer Tech I or II/ 3rd or 4th year Millwright Apprentice.
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems
- Ability toread blueprints, plans and schematics .
- Strongproblem-solving skills .
- Commitment to working safely .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability towork independently with little supervision
- Good organizational and planning skills .
- Proficient inMicrosoft Word, Excel and Outlook .
- Experience withComputerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) - preferably JD Edwards.
- Previous experience in a forest products environment is considered an asset.

- Work with ahigh-performance team dedicated tomaintaining all mill machinery includingpumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings and hydraulic systems involved in the manufacturing process.
- Keep our systems running smoothly byperforming preventative and predictive maintenance .



This includes inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
- Win big by finding safe, creative ways toboost equipment reliability and streamline our processes.
- Apply your knowledge, skills and experience totroubleshoot issues and come up withsafe, reliable fixes to keep the mill running.
- Share your knowledge with the next generation of maintenance rockstars – our Apprentices.
