Position Purpose
Contribute to a positive customer experience by ensuring the effective processing of orders, maintaining accurate administrative follow-ups, and coordinating information between customers and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and process requirements for receiving customer shipments into the warehouse.
Enter the customer request into the Warehouse Management System (WMS), review stock status, and generate picking documents and bills of lading.
Notify the dispatcher of shipping/receiving priorities.
Schedule loads for shipping.
Perform double-checks of shipments (quantities, dates, and related documentation) to ensure accuracy.
Provide support for customer billing and account inquiries.
Respect, follow, and ensure compliance with warehouse policies, procedures, standards, and health and safety rules, including HACCP & BRCGS.
Perform other related duties.
What Will Help You Succeed
A minimum of one (1) year of warehousing or logistics experience.
Customer service experience.
High school diploma (asset).
Professional Skills Required for the Position
Good level of English, both spoken and written.
Positive computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Good interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively and efficiently while meeting deadlines.
General knowledge of warehouse functions.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
Special Conditions of the Position
Primarily office-based work workplace.
Simultaneous management of multiple requests and deadlines.
Frequent interaction with clients, carriers, and operational teams
