Global consulting firm seeking Cost Manager / Commercial Manager to join their project teams in Vancouver, BC and Montreal, ON. Remote working is available to suitable candidates. Salary $140,000-$200,000. Outpost Recruitment is excited to work with our client on this full time permanent role.

In this role you will:

- Activelyparticipatein the tender/bid process–frominitialtender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting
- Manage the change managementprocess –identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes that affect the project cost
- Analysetenders/bids to ensure client value for money
- Assistin the preparation and agreement of final accounts,



including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken
- Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
- Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to your team
- Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation andtimelycommunication
- Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
- Foster top performance and growth for your employees via excellent mentorship and leadership

We would love to hear from you if you:

- Have experience as aseniorcost manager, ideally from a consultancy background
- Have experience in pre-contract cost managementwhilebeingexperienced in budget control, cost planning,preparingandinitiatingchange forms for discussion with other project stakeholderswhilebeingknowledgeableonalternative construction materials
- Are chartered or are on the path tocompleteit. We can help
- Have a degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
- Are an excellent communicator verbally and inwriting
