Assisted Living Alberta is looking for a dedicated Recreation Therapy Assistant for its Fairview Health Complex. You'll work under the supervision of the Recreation Therapist as part of an interprofessional team. With a focus on evidence-based, client-centered practices, you will promote functional independence and quality care for residents. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Allied Health and Nursing teams
Implement therapeutic recreation activities for clients
Monitor and evaluate client progress under qualified guidance
Promote functional independence through recreation
Participate in quality improvement and program planning efforts Requirements:
Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or equivalent
Valid BCLS-HCP certification
Minimum 1 year experience preferred with seniors
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
