You will:

- As an Assistant Vice President/Vice President help to develop and promote the company’s culture of engineering excellence.
- Define, develop and deliver solutions at a top tier investment bank or another esteemed client.
- Perform other duties as needed.

Your required skills:

This role will be responsible for working closely with the technical leads and product owners to Develop & support data engineering and analytics functionalities in the Wealth Management Subdomain at a top tier Investment Bank.

The right candidate will be responsible for hands-on application development to support the current and target state processes across the design, build, test, deploy & support phases.

- Experience in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to balance multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

- The ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.




- The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to multitask and a disciplined attention to detail, along with a team player mentality.
- 5 -12 years of programming experience.
- Proficient in Java with a strong background in algorithms and data structures is a must.
- Strong development experience with the storage, manipulation and management of Relational, non-relational and/or streaming data structure
- Experience in a rapid-based environment with a proven ability to balance multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- A “get it done right” mentality.
- The ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.
- The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to multitask and a disciplined attention to detail, along with a team player mentality.
- Development experience in one of the messaging frameworks like Kafka or IBM MQ.
- Development experience in one of the caching technologies.
- Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop and machine learning model implementation.
- Angular or other technologies.
- Banking or Capital Markets domain understanding.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline

Your Education and Experience:
