Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Accounting Manager (CPA) for our client, a well-established and client-focused Chartered Professional Accounting firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a designated CPA who enjoys working independently, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high-quality financial and tax services to a diverse client base.What you'll be doing:Prepare and review audit and review engagements and non-assurance financial statements with appropriate disclosuresPrepare and review corporate (T2), personal (T1), and other tax returns (T3, T4, T5, etc.)Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP, tax legislation, and professional standardsReview working paper files and provide detailed review notes for quality control purposesMentor and support junior staff in file preparation and use of software such as Caseware and SageProvide advisory support to clients on tax, payroll, CRA matters, and general business inquiriesAssist with practice management functions,
