[email protected], please quote “FSD-E”Job Purpose:The Food Services Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of prepared meals, food supplies, and related materials using a Homes First refrigerated vehicle.JOB REQUIREMENTSConduct pre/post-trip truck inspections to ensure proper and safe handling conditionsOperate the vehicle safely and in compliance with all Ontario traffic regulationsLoad the vehicle with food service bins, meal containers, and suppliesComplete required paperwork (Daily driver logs, Signature of Receipts, vehicle maintenance concerns etc.)Safely transport meals and supplies between centralized kitchens, shelters, and housing sites to designated staffMonitor and adhere to legislative requirements, Toronto Shelter Standards, Collective Agreement and Homes First policies and proceduresMaintain inventory and order supplies for the program as neededDemonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English and follow oral and written instructionsDemonstrate ability to work independentlyKnowledge of client populations, diversity issues,
