Reporting t o Dining Room Manager the Dining Room Servers will work with the kitchen staff to provide a fine dining experience to all residents and guests at each meal.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
? Prepare dining area for guests including setting proper tableware up as directed in organizational service standards manual
? Handle foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and organizational standards
? Take meal and beverage orders and serve items according to established guidelines
? Create a comfortable dining environment for residents and guests by way of friendly and professional interactions
? Bus tables following service and coordinate with kitchen staff to complete dishwashing process
? Ensure dining areas are clean and disinfected at all times
? Stock, maintain and clean designated food and beverage stations
? Promote Resident autonomy, independence and advocacy, including Residents' rights and a culture of dignity and non-abuse
? Other duties as assigned
? Previous knowledge of WHMIS program




? Previous experience in restaurant or banquet settings or senior care is considered an asset

? Understanding influence of disabilities and aging processes on residents' food preferences and dining habits
? Ability to self-initiate and also work well as a team member
? Effective oral and written communication skills
? Demonstrated ability to multitask
? Excellent observational skills and ability to determine urgency or reportable incidents
