About the role

We are a growing home service SEO agency and we need one person who owns our finances properly. Not a firm we email once a quarter, but someone who knows our numbers every month and keeps us compliant without us having to think about it.

This is a part time role with real ownership. You will run the finance function from the day to day bookkeeping through to the monthly report.

What you will do
Manage our bookkeeping: categorise transactions, reconcile accounts, and keep the books clean and current.
Run payroll and pay the team accurately and on time.
Handle our tax obligations, including sales tax filings, payroll remittances and year end preparation.




Prepare a monthly financial report covering revenue, expenses, profit and cash flow, with a short note on anything we should be paying attention to.

What we are looking for
Proven experience running bookkeeping and payroll for a small business or agency.
Confident in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
Experience with Canadian payroll and sales tax, including GST, PST and CRA remittances.
Accurate, organised, and comfortable working independently on a part time schedule.
You can turn a set of numbers into a short report a business owner can actually act on.
