ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Tuna Loiner to join a well-established seafood
processing operation in Vancouver. This is a hands-on production role
focused on breaking down whole tuna using a band saw and preparing
loins to specification. Candidates must have prior experience with
tuna loining and understand the importance of precision, yield, and
consistency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate band saw to break down whole tuna into loins
Perform clean, exact loining cuts while maintaining yield
Trim and portion tuna to meet quality specifications
Maintain consistency in cuts and product presentation
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Support overall production flow as needed
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Hands-on experience with tuna loining
Comfort operating band saws in a production workplace
Understanding of yield, product handling, and quality standards
Experience working in a fast-paced seafood processing environment
REQUIREMENTS
