Lead global ICOFR initiatives with Great-West Lifeco as the Director of Corporate Financial Reporting. Drive governance and enhance financial controls in a permanent full time role.Reporting to the AVP of Corporate Financial Reporting, you will oversee the Outstanding West Global ICOFR program. This includes risk assessment, control evaluations, and process improvements. Furthermore, you'll be an advisor to business leaders, focusing on the effectiveness of financial controls and the overall governance framework.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee risk-based scoping and control assessments
Advise on control design and implementation
Drive improvement in governance practices
Support strategic business and technology initiatives
Partner with auditors to ensure complianceRequirements:
Minimum 5 years in external or internal audit
CPA designation is required
Knowledge of SOX controls an asset
Familiarity with IFRS and COSO standards
