Job Title: AI Product Data Analyst

Rate: CAD 60 to 65 per hour

Role Summary

We are hiring an experienced AI Product Data Analyst to support AI tooling and platform productivity initiatives through data-driven insights. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Strategy, and Finance teams to analyze complex datasets, build scalable measurement frameworks, and help teams understand the impact and value of AI-enabled capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to define business questions, success metrics, and analytical approaches.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights.
- Monitor KPIs and platform performance while communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analyze AI-enabled product and platform usage to identify friction points and improvement opportunities.
- Build dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Apply statistical analysis, experimentation, forecasting, and predictive analytics to support data-driven decisions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytics workflows.
- Build scalable measurement frameworks for AI-native and AI-augmented capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Strategy, and Finance teams to align analytics initiatives with business goals.

Must-Have Skills

- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.




- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms to improve productivity and automate analytical workflows.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate data analysis and develop lightweight systems or prototypes.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation.
- Experience with data warehouse and ELT technologies such as Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake.
- Robust understanding of analytics data models, semantic layers, and governed datasets.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, experimentation, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
