WAVE 98.3 – Vancouver’s Coolest Vibe is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Account Manager who wants to build their own business within our business.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, opening doors and developing new business. You’ll work directly with Vancouver businesses to create advertising and marketing campaigns across radio, digital, promotions, and events.

You’ll have the freedom to develop your own client relationships and sales approach, backed by the creative resources and support of an experienced media team.

What You’ll Do

- Prospect for and develop new business throughout the Vancouver market
- Build long-term relationships with local businesses and advertising partners
- Learn your clients’ businesses, goals, and challenges and become a trusted marketing partner
- Develop customized campaigns across radio, digital, promotions and events
- Present creative ideas and proposals and confidently ask for the business
- Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients
- Work with programming, promotions and creative teams to bring campaigns to life
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals
- What You Bring

- Sales experience, ideally in media, advertising, marketing, or a related field
- Confidence prospecting, making new connections and developing business
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- A self-starter mindset and the ability to work independently
- Curiosity about marketing, consumer behaviour and what makes businesses successful
- Solid organization and follow-through
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for client meetings throughout the Vancouver area
- An interest in music,



media and the Vancouver business community

Compensation & Benefits

- $50,000 in guaranteed earnings to start while you establish your client base, with a transition to a commission-based compensation structure
