This position reports to the Drug Distribution Manager and works under the guidance of a Pharmacist. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a hospital. You will be responsible for procurement, inventory management, dispensing, and packaging of medications according to department policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement and inventory of pharmaceuticals
Assist in compounding and dispensing medications
Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of prescriptions




Maintain effective communication within the health care team
Comply with privacy standards related to patient care

Requirements:
Grade 12 education, Manitoba Standards required
Graduate or near completion of a pharmacy program
Pharmacy Technician Certificate essential
Knowledge of medical terminology required
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
