Role Description The Bed Bug Inspector & In-Person Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This position involves visiting residential and commercial properties to conduct detailed inspections for bed bug activity, documenting findings, and explaining treatment options to clients in a clear and professional manner. The individual will deliver in-person sales presentations, build trust with customers, and recommend appropriate heat treatment services aligned with company standards.

Daily responsibilities include generating new business through local outreach, responding to inquiries, scheduling inspections,



and following up on leads to close sales. The role also requires collaborating with the service team, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the inspection and sales process.

Qualifications

- Solid Pest Control knowledge, including bed bug behavior, inspection techniques, and treatment options.
- Proficiency in Sales Presentations and consultative Sales, with the ability to explain technical services in accessible terms.
- Experience in New Business Development, including lead generation, networking, and local outreach.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, discretion, and managing sensitive situations in clients’ homes.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site visits within the Greater Toronto Area.
- Ability to work on-site, move through varied environments (including stairs and tight spaces), and adhere to safety protocols.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language abilities are an asset.
- Prior experience in pest control, home services, or field sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently with a results-oriented mindset.
