Aafiyat Medical Centre (AMC) is seeking an experienced Clinic Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Mississauga location.

Aafiyat Medical Centre is a growing multidisciplinary healthcare organization focused on creating accessible, coordinated care under one roof. AMC is expanding, with plans to establish numerous locations across the GTA and surrounding communities, bringing together family medicine, walk-in care, specialists, pharmacy, rehabilitation, mental health, and allied health services.

The Role The Clinic Manager will be responsible for keeping the clinic organized, properly staffed, and running efficiently. This is a hands-on role that requires strong experience with Canadian medical clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and manage staff schedules and ensure appropriate clinic coverage
- Manage sick calls, vacation requests, shift changes, and last-minute staffing needs
- Monitor physician schedules, clinic days, availability, and schedule changes
- Coordinate staffing based on physician schedules and patient volumes
- Supervise and support reception and administrative staff
- Oversee daily clinic operations, patient flow, and front-desk workflows
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, and completion of responsibilities
- Support OHIP billing, EMR workflows, referrals, and other clinic administrative processes




- Handle patient concerns and day-to-day operational issues
- Support staff and physician recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Manage clinic inventory, supplies, and operational needs
- Maintain clinic policies, privacy standards, and Ontario healthcare requirements
- Communicate staffing, physician, and operational needs with AMC leadership

Qualifications

- Canadian medical clinic experience is required
- Previous clinic management, healthcare operations, or senior medical administration experience is an asset
- Knowledge of OHIP billing and Ontario clinic operations is an asset
- Experience creating staff schedules and coordinating physician schedules is an asset
- Experience supervising medical administrative or reception staff in an asset
- Proficiency with EMR and medical scheduling systems
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a busy clinic and respond effectively to changing operational needs
- Healthcare or business administration education is an asset, but relevant experience will also be considered

This is a full-time, on-site position in Mississauga, Ontario.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the clinic, keep the team organized, support our physicians, and help build robust systems as AMC continues to grow.
