Company Description UNLOOC Chips JU Project is an innovation initiative supported by the Chips Joint Undertaking (Grant Agreement No. 101140192), with additional funding from Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). The project operates within a European research and technology framework focused on advancing semiconductor and related digital technologies. While the project benefits from substantial institutional support, its views and opinions are those of the project team and do not necessarily represent those of the European Union, Chips JU, or other funding bodies.

Role Description The Co-Founder will play a central role in shaping the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the UNLOOC Chips JU Project. This full-time hybrid position is based in Division No. 6, SK, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining and executing the business strategy, supporting fundraising and partnership development, and overseeing project planning and delivery.

The Co-Founder will engage with stakeholders, manage key relationships with partners and funding bodies,



and help build a high-performing team. The role also involves monitoring market trends, guiding sales and marketing activities, and ensuring alignment between technical development, research goals, and business objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and Research abilities to assess market opportunities, interpret data, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with partners, present project progress, and represent the initiative with clarity and professionalism.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Marketing skills to help develop value propositions, support business development, and promote the project to stakeholders and potential clients.
- Experience in technology, semiconductor, or deep-tech sectors, especially within European or international research frameworks, is beneficial.
- Proven leadership experience, including strategic planning, team building, and stakeholder management, is highly valued.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a multicultural, interdisciplinary setting.
- A relevant academic background in business, engineering, technology management, or a related field is an asset, though equivalent practical experience is also considered.
